   A: No, these are simple interest loans and you can pay them off as soon as you would like without a penalty.
   

3. Q: Can I pay my loan ahead?
   
   A: You can make payments ahead of schedule for up to two months; Example: If your loan payment for $200 is due January 1st and you pay $600 you will still have another $200 payment due on March 1st. Whenever payments are received they are applied to interest and principal first, then to any late fees.

   A: Boats: Merrick Bank finances most traditional boats.  However, we do not finance personal watercraft (i.e. jet skis, wave runners, etc), high performance boats or sailboats.
   RVs: We finance towable 5th wheels, travel trailers, truck campers and folding camping trailers.  We do not finance motor homes.  We finance for recreational use only.
   

7. Q: Does Merrick Bank finance private party person-to-person sales?
   
   A: At this time we do not finance this type of sale.
   

8. Q: How do I know which dealership to go to that is approved to do business with Merrick Bank?
   
   A: You can go to the dealership of your choice and ask them if they are signed up with Merrick Bank.  If they are not, have them call us at 1-888-545-3888. You can also call our marketing department at the same number and ask about a specific dealer.
